We are pleased to announce the Asian American Council of Oregon will partner again with the Lane Arts Council First Friday Artwalk for a special Lunar New Year Celebration planned for February 6, 2026.

Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Eugene First Friday ArtWalk on February 7th at the Eugene Downtown Farmers Market Pavilion.
Enjoy cultural performances, art exhibits, a marketplace, youth activities, and “learn-to” activities.
Food trucks on site will offer Asian cuisine for purchase. The Celebration is part of the Eugene First Friday ArtWalk tour and will feature works of art in print, textiles, calligraphy, mixed media, pottery, and more.
The Lunar New Year Celebration opens at 5:30 p.m. at the Pavilion. Chinese Lion Dancers will welcome the new year, scare away evil spirits, and usher in the Year of the Horse from the Chinese zodiac.
A brochure and map of the First Friday Artwalk for the evening is available to pick up at the Pavilion and at the evening’s ArtWalk locations.
