REMEMBERING HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI

81st Anniversary Commemoration on August 6 at Alton Baker Park (Peace Park Pavilion)

7:00-8:30 p.m. Public Welcome

The public is invited to the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Commemoration on Wednesday, August 6, at 7 p.m. at Alton Baker Park’s Peace Pavilion. Experience taiko drumming, Obon dancing, and a lantern ceremony at dusk to honor the victims of the atomic bombings 81 years ago and to call for peace. Eugene Mayor Kararin Knudson will be the featured speaker. Details at AsianCouncil.org.
